Regens lighter from the '40s
Brand: Regens, a brand known for its unique lighter designs. Mechanism: Operates through a squeeze-action, where squeezing the sides ignites the flame. Material: Appears to be made of metal, possibly brass or a silver-tone alloy. Design: Features an Art Deco style with engraved patterns. Origin: Most likely manufactured in the USA. This lighter does do everything it's supposed to do in the way of the squeeze action, it still has the wick and the cotton that holds the fluid, it did not ignite but I also did not put a flint or fluid in it.
