Stratego 50 years edition
Objective: Capture your opponent's flag while defending your own. Setup: Players secretly arrange their pieces on their half of the board. Gameplay: Players take turns moving one piece per turn to an adjacent square or attacking an opponent's piece. Battles: When attacking, both players reveal their piece's rank, and the higher-ranking piece wins (with some exceptions, like the Spy and Miners). Hidden Information: Players don't know the rank of their opponent's pieces until they engage in battle, adding a layer of deception and strategic thinking. Key Pieces: Important pieces include the Marshal, Spy, Miners, and Bombs, each with unique abilities and vulnerabilities. Winning: The first player to capture the opponent's flag wins the game. Variations: Stratego has seen various editions, including Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and even electronic versions.
