1970's VINTAGE CALICO DRESS cotton 70's S
Cute and comfy! Late 1970's (MAYBE '80/81) cotton calico day dress. Printed with tiny floral springs, and edged in a touch of lace. The waist is lightly smocked (not a tight stretch). The cardigan and belt seen in the first few pictures are listed separately, this listing is for the dress only. Machine washable. Overall remarkable condition, but picture 6 shows that the incredibly bottom of the V neck is tearing a little. Easy, disguise-able fix, but I chose not to repair it, because the head hole may be a little small... the next owner may actually want to snip the V a little MORE before stitching if it's too small to popover easily (for instance if you have very thick hair). Or snip the V and add a button or even just re-close with a brooch. All else excellent! Fits me well as a S, loose and easy to move in for me.
