Moonstone Sterling Silver Ring - Horizontal Oval Cabochon - fabulous Play of Color - Sz 7 -This moonstone ring is exquisite tapered band with open work reminiscent of Celtic symbols on each side of the bezel setting. The band is 11mm at the center of the setting and tapers gently to 3mm towards th epalm of the hand.The moonstone is natural, untreated, with good adularescence (play of color, blue flashes. It is an high domed oval cut cabochon that rises 19mm above the hand. The estimated size for the gemstone is 9mm by 12mm. It is set horizontally. This moonstone is loupe clean and free from inclusions.In excellent condition, much prettier in person as the blue flashes are difficult to catch in photos.The ring size is 7 and it can be sized by a good silversmith.Marked 925 and tested, it weighs approximately 4.85 grams.There is no maker's mark.The condition is excellent, this is a beautiful ring. The color play and height of the cabochon makes it truly special.9239
