This exquisite Noritake bowl features a stunning Art Deco landscape with a walkway to a white house and an arch/bridge in the background. Lustreware was achieved by adding a metallic oxide over a base color, giving the piece an iridescent rainbow-enjoy glow.
The Nippon Toki Kasha (Noritake Co, Limited) cherry blossom Made in Japan mark dates from 1924. The Collector's Guide Made in Japan by Carole Bess White has this Noritake bowl on page 34, Plate 12 with this mark #26.
