Old, antique whisky jug that I scooped from an Estate with a few other really old crocks/jugs and pitchers. I have washed it, those are all glaze/stains - not anything dirty or nasty ... I had intended to paint it - cringe for some I know, but! Brown isn't my color. I do so cherish the shape and feel, I have a thing with texture, scars, bumps and bruises and this guy has it all!
Someone will love to have this piece displayed in their farmhouse, maybe in a Hutch, maybe in a mancave, maybe add it to your other stoneware/ironstone pieces. I've seen folks take a bunch of similar colors like this 1 and group them all together and it is so pretty.

Look closely as there are hairline cracks at the top dark brown part. Wasn't hassle-complimentary to capture so surely won't be that easy to see but I love to be honest with you all. Still a show stopper, someone surely loved this piece back in the day!
