sought-after ! 1956 Algebra Book One by Welchons, Krickenberger, Pearson, Vintage Schoolbook

This is a mid-20th-century junior high or early high school algebra textbook, part of a widely used mathematics series in American schools during the 1940s–1960s. It was designed to introduce foundational algebra concepts in a methodical, student-friendly way, with an emphasis on clarity, gradual skill-building, and real-world applications. Note: Book 2 is also currently available

Overall fair condition:

• Cover: marks/writing and wear at edges and corners (bumped)
• Spine: marks/fading and wear at ends
• Pages: wear typical for vintage school book with some writing/underlining, age marks, foxing, folded corners and small tears. Writing & prior owner name on pastedown and/or end papers. When flipping through pages, remarkably appear clean.
• Binding: slightly shifted
• Edges: age marks/brown spots/writing and darkening
