One of the hardiest varieties of pomegranate. This is a personal selection from the esteemed Dr. Gregory Levin's research station in Turkmenistan. Sirenevyi fruits are light colored skin, almost orange in color with splotches of red and yellow overlapping one another.The fruits have very supple purple seeds with a super complex flavor, sometimes described as a mix of sweet and spicy. Like other russian varieties, Sirevenyi is extremely cold tolerant, performing well into zone 7, and sometimes even 6!
