sought-after ! Prewar Automobile Seat Cushion

Prewar era car/truck vinyl seat cushion. Likely came out of an open top vehicle. Exactly what make/model it came out of I am unsure. Appears to be a similar shape to Chevy and Buick seats of the 1925-older era. There is a tag inside with the number 5125965.

Measures roughly 41 inches wide at the front and narrows in the back. At its deepest, roughly 20 inches. Has an overall height of around 8 inches. The vinyl is a bit dry and shows assorted cracking along the front and sides.

The worst damage is on the top with a good size rip and one smaller rip. Along with some small pin holes. The burlap layer between the vinyl and springs is in good shape. The metal frame inside is in good shape with some light surface rust and a bend in the front that can be fixed but otherwise there is some nice original paint and no broken springs. The springs are in terrific shape with plenty of life in them and spring back easily.

Overall in decent shape and could be used for an original car or reupholstered.
